Falmouth Dojang
Our falmouth dojang is First Defence's full time centre and headquarters. It is credited as the only full equipped full time taekwondo centre in cornwall!
Having started in 2002 out of Falmouth School's gym, the Falmouth Academy grew and grew. In our first year we managed to get a grant through Mrs Daniella Buckby, Head PE teacher of Falmouth School, and it is to her that we owe a great many thanks - as she allowed us to start our now leading Falmouth Academy.
In October 2003 we moved premises to our current loaction. Since that period we have continually updated the premises and surroundings, and continue to bring in new equipment all the time to provide the best facilities we can for you, our students.
The dojang is fully equipped with two punch bags, large kick shields, focus mitts, blockers, dragon wavemaster kicking stand, totalGym, Smartie Kick Pads, Sparring Equipment and a full sound system.
Classe's here are conducted by Mr Mike Beard 6th Dan
Mondays & Wednesdays are conducted by Miss Helen Richardson 1st Dan
