Warning! Door to door 'Karate' salesmen

We've recently been contacted by some concerned local residents in Helston who have been visited by people purporting to be instructors from a local Karate school, who have been giving them a real herd-sell and being very aggressive on their door step to get them to sign up for their school.
They will try to tell you that you can save lots of money by pre-registering etc. and ask you to give them a cheque which they'll hold on to until you take your first class.
One lady that called us thought they were our students. Please note we would never ever do such a thing.
